About the editor:
Shannon A. Bowen is assistant professor specializing in public relations in the department of communication at the University of Maryland. Her research interests include public relations ethics and theory, organizational communication, internal relations, and strategic issues management. Bowen taught at the University of Houston and Auburn University before joining the faculty of the University of Maryland. She teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in public relations and communication management.
